Privacy Policy.
Your artistic visions, screenplays, and generative assets belong to you. Here is our direct commitment to how studio telemetry and credentials are handled.
iFi is an independent AI cinema production studio created by Russ Khaimov. It is early-access software provided as-is.
No SLA & No Third-Party Endorsement: iFi carries no service level agreements (SLAs) or enterprise warranties, and is not affiliated with, endorsed, or supported by Google LLC or any other AI model provider whose services it uses. While fully functional, it may contain bugs. Please do not use it for mission-critical, enterprise production, or high-stakes business initiatives.
Data Ingestion & Minimal Footprint
We only collect the operational metadata strictly required to synthesize your films:
- Authentication profile (Google Identity email and cryptographic user ID)
- Production state (Screenplay outlines, visual references, scenes, and generated audio/video frames)
- Performance telemetry required to debug studio frame stalls and audio synchronization
Frontier AI Processing & API Boundary
When you initiate screenplay generation, audio scoring, or video rendering, prompts are relayed through authenticated Google Gemini, Vertex AI, or Imagen APIs. Studio API requests operate under enterprise data covenants: your proprietary scripts and production prompts are not used to train foundation models.
Cryptographic Key Storage & Edge Encryption
Your Bring-Your-Own-Key (BYOK) Gemini API credentials are encrypted with AES-GCM 256-bit cryptography before leaving your client environment. Raw tokens are never logged, never exposed to other tenants, and only decrypted in transient runtime memory during active shot generation.
Asset Storage & Deletion Rights
All production footage, audio stems, and storyboards are stored in isolated Google Cloud Storage buckets under your user account. You maintain the right to delete any individual scene, take, or entire production portfolio at any time via the Studio Archive.
Google and YouTube Data
iFi uses YouTube API Services to publish a film to your YouTube channel when you choose Publish to YouTube. By using this feature you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
- What iFi asks for: permission to upload videos and their thumbnails to your channel (the
youtube.uploadscope). Nothing else. - What iFi does with it: uploads the film you chose, with the title, description, AI disclosure and thumbnail you set, at the privacy level you pick.
- What iFi does not do: read, change or delete your other videos, comments, playlists or channel settings, or use your Google data for advertising or to train AI models.
- Storage: the access Google grants is used for the upload you start and is not stored by iFi. iFi keeps only the link to the published video, in your production.
- Revoking access: you can remove iFi's access at any time in your Google Account permissions.
- Deletion: deleting a production deletes the link iFi kept; to delete everything iFi holds about you, email privacy@ifi.io and we will do so within 30 days.
iFi's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Service Email
iFi emails you about your own productions: when a client approves a cut, when filming finishes, and when a production reaches its spending cap. These are sent through our email provider (Resend), which receives only your email address and the message. You can turn them off in Settings. We never sell your address or send marketing from your account.
