A Sturdier Studio
iFi moves to the latest web platform release, with refreshed dependencies, automatic quality checks on every update, and audio tools that behave the same on every machine.
A faster, steadier studio you can rely on.
Easier to Find
Search engines now get a clear map of iFi's public pages, while your studio and private review links stay out of their results.
The right pages show up, and private ones never do.

Stronger Studio Protection
Every action in iFi now confirms it's you before touching your productions, footage and files, and an automatic check holds every new feature to the same standard.
Your films stay private and under your control.

Billing Help, Right When You Need It
If your Gemini project runs out of credit or reaches its monthly spending cap, iFi opens a clear guide that names the cause, shows which project to look for, and links straight to the right page in Google AI Studio.
Back to filming in a minute, without hunting through settings.
Pay by the Finished Minute
A new Minutes page shows all-inclusive pricing for finished film, with retakes, score and narration included and bigger savings on bigger packs. Card payments are opening soon.
Know exactly what a film will cost before you start.
A Roomier Start Screen
The production bar and format cards now fit cleanly at every window size.
Every option in view.

Spending Cap Notices
When work pauses, iFi now tells you whether your Gemini project needs more credit or has reached its monthly spending cap, with a direct link to the right setting.
Get back to filming with the right fix, the first time.

Off-Camera Characters
When a shot keeps someone just off camera, such as the person a character is talking to through a doorway, iFi's frame review now understands it and leaves them out of the cast checks.
Fewer false alarms when you approve frames.
Film the Remaining Shots
Once some takes are filmed, a new button films just the shots still waiting, keeps every take you have, and shows the price first.
Finish a film in one click without reshooting what you already like.

Clear Credit Notices
When the Gemini credit behind your key runs out, iFi now keeps a notice across the top of the studio with a direct link to add more, instead of a brief pop-up.
You always know why work paused and how to resume it in one click.
End-to-End Production Check
Every release is now checked on a test production from script to finished takes: the shape of every frame and take, dailies, and which takes need a reshoot.
Fewer surprises on your set.

Sharper Production Diagnostics
iFi now traces every step of a production end to end and keeps a record of how often takes pass the first time, so problems are found and fixed faster.
A studio that keeps getting more reliable.

Smarter Retakes
When a take or frame fails the same way twice, iFi stops and suggests how to restage the shot, such as taking readable text out of the picture or leaving only the speaker in frame, instead of trying the same thing again.
Spend on new ideas, not repeated attempts.
Labs
iFi's main path, from idea to finished cut, now comes first. The assistant, Recast Studio, language versions, alternative openings and the finishing master move into Labs, one switch away in Settings.
A cleaner studio focused on finishing your film.

Every Frame in Your Film's Shape
Every way iFi draws a frame now takes its shape from your production, and the frame check measures it, so a frame the wrong way round is caught and redrawn before it's filmed.
Vertical stays vertical, widescreen stays widescreen, everywhere.
Smarter Continuity Between Shots
A shot now picks up from the previous one only when it continues the same camera on the same people. A cut to a new subject, like a clock and then a face, starts fresh.
Each shot shows exactly what you wrote.

Catch Problems Before They Cost a Take
A new Script check reads your shot list before anything is made and points out what would likely come back wrong: a repeated moment or line, a clock or words to read in the picture, a crowd, two people speaking in one frame, a narrator label left in a voice-over, someone speaking who isn't cast, or an outfit that doesn't exist. Each comes with why and what to do instead, and the simple ones fix in a click.
Spend on takes that work.
Scripts Written for the Camera
Every script iFi writes now follows how today's video model films best: one speaker per shot, voices from off screen written as such, nothing to read in the picture, one action per shot, and key objects in their own close-ups.
More takes right the first time.

Change a Shot's Action, Everywhere
Rewriting a shot's action in the shot editor now updates everything that describes the shot, so its next frame, its take and its dailies check all follow your new direction.
Restage a shot with a single edit.

Retake in One Click
The Before you film card now lists every take that failed dailies or was filmed before its frame was redrawn, and films them again from their frames in one step, priced, checked in dailies and held to your cap. The frames you approved are kept.
Fix every weak take without starting over.

Redraw Frames With Confidence
Redrawing the frame of a shot that continues from the one before now draws only that frame, every time. Takes are filmed only when you film them.
Perfect every frame before spending on a take.

End Frames Always Match Your Film
End frames and the frames of shots that continue from them are now always delivered in your film's shape, vertical or widescreen.
Linked shots stay in shape from frame to frame.

Fix Frames in One Click
The animatic card now finds any frame drawn in the wrong shape for your film, such as a widescreen frame in a vertical micro-drama, and redraws them all in the right shape with their checks, without filming anything.
Bring a whole production back in shape in one step.

Drawing a Frame Only Draws the Frame
Asking iFi to draw or redraw a shot's frame now draws just the frame, including shots that continue from the one before. Filming always waits for you.
Check every frame before a single take is filmed.
Vertical Everywhere
End frames, frames for shots that continue from the last one, alternate takes and cutaways are now all drawn in your film's shape.
A vertical film stays vertical in every frame.
A Stop Button That Stops
Stop now halts anything that hasn't started yet, and tells you plainly that a take the video model has already begun is still charged and kept on the shot.
Clear control over what you spend.

Wrong-Shape Frames Flagged
If a shot's frame doesn't match your film's shape, such as a widescreen frame in a vertical film, the shot's checks say so before filming and ask you to redraw it.
Every take is filmed the right way round.
Off-Screen Characters Stay Off Screen
Redrawing a frame by hand now keeps out anyone the shot doesn't show, such as a voice on the phone or someone just off camera.
Frames match the scene you wrote, whichever way they're drawn.
1.42.10
betaOctober 29, 2026
Vertical From the First Frame
Frames for vertical productions are now drawn at 9:16 throughout, including the frames made for the animatic, so what you approve is exactly the frame you film.
Reels and micro-dramas framed for the phone from the start.
Voices Stay Off Screen
A character who is only heard in a shot, such as a voice on the phone, is now kept out of its frame and its take, and the checks make sure they never appear.
Phone calls and off-screen voices look the way you imagined.

Frame Counts You Can Trust
The animatic's progress now counts the frames already drawn from the very first moment.
Progress that reads right from start to finish.

Live Animatic Progress
The animatic card now shows a live progress bar as each frame is drawn and the cut is assembled, then plays the animatic when it's ready. You can leave the page while it works.
Always know where your animatic is.
Ready Before You Start
If a look still needs your approval before frames can be drawn, the animatic card says which one and takes you straight to it, and any problem stays on the card until it's solved.
No guessing why nothing happened.
A Cleaner Player
The player's controls are simpler, with only what you use.
Less clutter while you watch your cut.
